"In Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1889, The Great Flood has destroyed a bustling steel town, and left a motley crew of survivors and surveyors to clean up and rebuild. Meanwhile, at a bar in Johnstown a century later, laid-off steel workers wax metaphoric about past lives and future ambitions. Traversing time and space, Reisman’s distinctly hopeful dark comedy depicts the destruction, rebuilding, and adaptation of an American city. Award-winning director Mark Routhier and an ensemble of seven bring Reisman’s unorthodox story to life this September at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA)." - The NOLA Project
