"1941" was created through long-form improvisation, found text, found and original sound and impulsive movement.
Each day, five office workers are dedicated to completing a phrase (by way of a coded electronic message) that may be of either profound, average or no importance. Cued in various ways by a barrage of digital and organic sounds, the workers labor tirelessly to complete their mysterious task before the work day ends.
Each of the roles was randomly assigned one hour prior to the performance.
